  • What makes Moss & Mana microgreens different?

    Our microgreens are sold as live mats, which means they’re still growing when they reach you. Instead of pre-cut greens, you harvest fresh at home for maximum flavor and nutrition.

    They also come in kraft containers that are fully compostable and biodegradable, with a clay-coated inside for wet strength. All inks are water-based, non-toxic, and biodegradable. You can toss the packaging right into your backyard compost or bring it to a composting facility.

  • How do I care for live mats?

    Keep the container in a bright spot and water lightly from the bottom if the soil feels dry. Snip what you need as you go. Harvesting earlier gives you tender greens, while letting them grow longer makes for a heartier bite. Pea shoots may regrow for a second harvest, though they become a little less tender each time.

  • How long will microgreens last?

    Live mats last up to 1–2 weeks with proper care. Cut microgreens (once harvested) should be stored in a sealed container in the fridge and are best enjoyed within 3–5 days.

  • Can live mats go in the fridge?

    We don’t recommend refrigerating live mats. They stay healthiest at room temperature with light and water. Once cut, the greens can be refrigerated.

  • When and how do I get my order?

    Deliveries: Wednesdays & Saturdays in the local area.

    Pickup: Free in Monkton, VT (details at checkout).
    We’ll confirm your pickup or delivery time once your order is ready.

  • Do you offer subscriptions or preorders?

    Subscriptions aren’t available yet, but we’re working on it! For now, you can preorder each week.

    For Wednesday delivery or pickup: Place your order by Monday at 8 PM.

    For Saturday delivery or pickup: Place your order by Thursday at 8 PM.

  • What if I’m not happy with my order?

    Because our products are perishable, we don’t offer returns. If something arrives damaged or doesn’t meet your expectations, please reach out right away. We’ll always do our best to make it right.
